Praise God!
God provided $26,105 in response to our "$30,000 in 30 Days" challenge! Of that amount, our own students raised $780! We are very proud of them for helping to raise money for their new school. Our next step is to raise approximately $300,000 to cover the cost of building the shell of the new classroom addition. The Building and Grounds Committee has been working hard on getting the design finalized and approved by the fire marshall and code enforcement officer. We are looking to the Lord to provide the funds necessary to start construction. If you would like to be used of the Lord in this way, contact the school office at 768-6222. You may also donate online by going to our "Home" page or "Ways to Give" page. Design plans are available in the school office for your review, if you wish.
$30,000 Challenge for April
The First Baptist Church of Washburn presented CCA with a very generous donation in the amount of $30,000 during their worship service on Sunday, April 3. Students, staff, and board members were in attendance for this presentation. The students participated in the service with songs they have learned in chapel and Scripture recitations they have learned in Bible class. The church's only request was that CCA use this donation to encourage others to donate as well. So, we are giving a "$30,000 in 30 Days" challenge for the month of April. Please prayerfully consider what God would have you give toward this challenge. For more information, you may contact the school office at 768-6222. New Facility
Cornerstone Christian Academy now has a new facility that we hope to be in for the 2011-2012 school year! Keys have been handed over and the doors have been opened to Cornerstone's new home. The property, pictured below, is located at 180 Houlton Road in Presque Isle. We are praising God for providing for the future of CCA.
A building project to add classroom space to the existing building is now in the design phase. If you are interested in donating to this project in any way - finances, labor, materials, etc. - please contact the school office at 768-6222.
