Mrs. Heald's Pre-K Corner
February 1-15
*Letters: We have learned our vowels and consonants. Now we are learning blends and putting them into words.
*Numbers: We have learned the numbers 1-12 and will continue to focus on them the next couple of weeks. We do lots of counting and games so we will really know our numbers. We will soon be learning about the teen family.
Weekly Specials: Monday - gym
Tuesday - music
Wednesday - chapel & reading buddies with 3rd/4th grades
Thursday - computer & music/game time with Kindergarten
Friday - reading buddies with junior high & movie
We also do stories, puzzles, games, poems, music and our daily Bible time.
*The next few weeks we will be working with the Kindergarten class, learning the parts of the body. We will learn all the major organs and how they function.
Bible time: Learning how God's Word, the Bible, was written and how wonderful and important it is to us.
We are learning the Pledge of Allegiance, and the pledge to the Christian flag.
